Reflection paragraph on your sources

I was actually very successful in finding good sources. Some of the websites give you information that others don't. I think about.com was the most useful because it had a huge article about his Olympic career and part of his life story. Ummm...... i think all of the sources i used were all trustworthy. There was one obvious bias site, yahoo answers. It was all different fans of Michael that were saying good or bad stuff about him.

I felt good while do this project. I thought it was pretty fun making a blog account and blogging about our topics. It was pretty easy to me and i enjoyed it. If we did it again, i would do it the same way because i liked this project.

I found some very important facts in my research of Michael Phelps. Some of the most important facts that i found out were, why Michael started swimming, who is influences were, and when hequalified for his first Olympics. There are not really any surprising facts because if you work as hard and as long and stay as dedicated as Michael was and still is, then you can do the same as he did. I feel great about the topic i picked now because i found out some really interesting stuff about him.

What is Michaels greatest swimming experience?
Michaels greatest experience is winning 8 gold medals in 1 Olympic games on Sunday, August 17, 2008. That was his greatest swimming experience because he wanted to beat Mark Spitz's record of 7 gold medals at 1 Olympic games, and that he did.

How old was michael when he started swimming?

Michael was 7 years old when he started swimming, under the influence of his sisters. Michael had Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), so swimming was an outlet for using his energy.

What made Michael Phelps start swimming as a kid?
Michaels biggest influence when he started to swim were his 2 older sisters, Whitney and Hilary. He started swimming at age 7, and he excelled by the age of 10 and he held a national record for his age group. Michael Qualified for the 2000 Olympics when he was 15. Michael's swim career has excelled ever since.
